Reid Ashbaucher is a native of Ohio who completed High School and military service, then attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, where he worked on a Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) Degree with a Pastoral emphasis. Reid completed a comprehensive study of the Old and New Testament books, Bible Doctrine, Biblical Theology, rounded off with courses on Missions, Religious Cults, Church Polity, Church Leadership, Homiletics, Hermeneutics, and Greek. In his Senior year, Reid transferred to Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, where he completed his undergraduate B.A. degree in Comprehensive Bible, taking courses in Bible, Christian Education, and Inductive Methods of Bible Study. In 2010, Reid graduated from Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary, located in Indiana, where he completed his Master of Arts degree in Christian Theology, completing courses in Old and New Testament Theology, Christian Theology, Philosophical Theology, Contemporary Theology, Theology of Ministry, Biblical Theology of Christian Education, rounded off with courses on New Testament History and The Kingdom of God. Reid also completed some coursework toward a PH.D. in Religious Studies, completing nine hours, with coursework on Major World Religions, Empirical Research Methods and Bibliographic Research Methods, endorsed by Canterbury Christ Church University, England.
Reid has 35 years of experience working in the electronic communications industry, which included Radio Broadcast Engineering. Reid’s electronic training comes from vocational High School, Schools in Military service, the National Radio Institute, and various factory training schools, along with hands-on, on-the-Job experience.
Since 2010, Reid has been writing books for the “body of Christ” on biblical doctrine and Christian theology, providing clarity in life through God’s truth—the Scriptures. Reid’s passion is teaching and speaking God’s truths in a principled format, helping to bring clarity and simplicity to everyday living from God’s point of view as revealed through the Holy Scriptures.
Reid has been a Christian for over 60 years and has served in Christian Churches in various capacities, including providing pulpit supply when asked.
Over the past several years, Reid has seen a need for Christians to understand their faith better and recognize that many Christians have moved away from the organized church, and many non-Christians are in search of the truth about life. Reid seeks to minister to these groups through his books, podcast, and blog website.
For the local church within 30 miles of Reid’s zip code and in need of short-term pulpit supply, Reid makes himself available to speak.
Reid is also available on weekends to speak anywhere in the Continental U.S. on any subject related to his written works or the Bible, God’s written Word.
